1st leg is at the Emirates and Partey is suspended for the 1st leg so I guess it'll be Merino alongside Rice as no way can we stick Jorginho in against PSG.

Wait first leg is at the Emirates? I thought you'd play away first, as I see PSG at the top of the bracket.

But honestly I'd think you'd be okay to stick Jorginho for one game. Do the same thing as you did Madrid.

That’s the result, but how have perennial bottlers arsenal ended up with better players than we have, with one or two exceptions?

I'm delighted we are through but it also feels Madrid didn't do their homework on the strategy.

Not like they didn't do homework, more like they pretty much have no idea what to do. Shut down the wing and they're dead. Last year at least there was Joselu to throw cross in, and he's gone already.

Don't know if it's mainly Vini being shocking, but Timber was fucking good.

Basmati is worth the £100m. Odegaard on the other hand... but it doesn't matter.

And unless something crazy happens, Arsenal will go into the final. That PSG midfield has no chance, especially with the second leg at Emirates. They damn near crumbled yesterday and fortunate to survive.

Arteta's setup might not be good enough to win the league (yet), but in Europe, that's pretty much the blueprint.
