Champions League group stage opponent watch (Sevilla V Barca)

Wasn't really watching but I had the Monchengladbach match on tv in the background and they honestly looked terrible. Don'y watch too much German football but what I saw today they don't really scare me. Dont want to underestimate them though.

I've seen 1.5 of Juve's first 3 matches and they don't scare me either honestly. I think Tevez and Pirlo were obviously huge losses, but for me the lose of Vital will prove to be vital (pun intended).

Saw Sevilla maybe play maybe 5 matches in the last two years. Obviosuly don't want to underestimate the champs of the Europa League as have Euro success but we should be able to take Sevilla.

Group Projections- Final standings

MCFC 13pts 313303
SEV 8pts 330110
JUVE 7pts 310031
BMCH 4pt 000013

All the teams we have in our group are massively underperforming. Not sure if anyone else saw the European football show on BT sport but it showed how many league points the teams in our group have. City 15, Sevilla 2, juventus 1, borussia m'gladbach 0

Agreed!

Thats the info I wanted to contribute. Sevilla looks also pretty average, IMO. Theyve lost one game, and only equalised today against Levante... and his goal came from Nzonzi... also...

It's positive news considering how tough the draw looked initially. We can be confident but not complacent.
