Champions League Group Stage

Dusseldorf is a far better city and less than an hour away. Plus your match ticket will get you there and back, as well as any get you on any tram, bus or train in the region on match day. Had a great craic last time and booked same hotel in alt stadt
Oh shit.
If the collection point is at the ground, we won't have our match tickets with us for the train from Dusseldorf.

Has it been confirmed that it will definitely be a pick up? Last time monchengladbach and Seville tickets were posted out

not anymore they wont. it will always be collection from now on. I like the new system, it means points will go lower and other people can go whilst building their own points rather than be by passed by whores selling on. something had to be done. it is a bit of a bugger like in Bucharest when the collection point was a friggin hut in a forest mind.
someone did make a good point about dussledorf/gladbach collection though. will be manic unless collection is right at the stadium.

What you reckon gladbach will go down to points wise mate??, below 10k??

I'm a member of the Scotland travel club and they operate slightly different. They have a large percentage collect. They used to have a 100% collection for smaller allocations and a large percentage of pick ups for big allocations. But they stopped the 100% pick ups due to the cost of extra staff traveling out to venues. As someone else pointed out,a large proportion of city fans will be staying in dusseldorf rather than Gladbach. Not a major problem it's self but the fact you can use your match ticket for any local transport on match days is a bonus. Will the do the same for Glasgow? Big allocation and the kind of game that most " whores " would want to go to. Certainly can't see it being feasible for the final in Cardiff.

Is it wise to stay in Dusseldorf then? Didn't do this last time so booked flights to Dusseldorf last night from Manchester so looking for somewhere to stay now. Can we get back to Dusseldorf after the game?
We got the bus from the ground to the train station then on to dussuldorf like clock work

Including Celtic?

See the other thread on this subject, there's also an issue with gladbach as many will stay in Dusseldorf, and if they have to pick tickets up in gladbach, they won't benefit from the free train travel the ticket includes.
It's not just free train travel to Gladbach, it's free bus, tram and train anywhere in the vrr region on match day. It stretches all
The way to Weeze to Dortmund and even Nijmegen

I'm hoping City do a deal with Celtic for 8500 tickets at Parkhead which will include a bigger away allocation for them at Etihad. To be fair we have been overly generous to them with loans in the last few seasons. If this doesn't happen and ticket sales are slow the ground will be flooded with fans of the manlwy mob

Does anyone know when the home fixture tickets go on sale? The website said it would be yesterday but I can't find it for the life of me.

All prices are up now . Doing a 3 match bundle which makes it a good deal. Mine works out about £77 for the 3 games as a season card holder on the cup scheme
