After all the scare stories yesterday thankfully was through covid checkpoint and passport control in less than 10 mins.

jumped in the lift to go to breakfast this morning - and it seems like the City suits are staying at my hotel - maybe the team too...just bumped into Txiki. Time to behave like a twat and sneak some selfies...and might see if young Phil wants to join us down in the square before kick off...

Flew to Tenerife today, flight to Lisbon Tuesday back to Tenerife for a few more days Thursday.
Forgot the match tickets. Doh. Should be able to sort though.

Managed to get my match tickets brought over with a mate, got to Tenerife airport, plane delayed 2 and half hours hopefully land an hour before kick off. Nightmare.

Just rode the hotel lift with Mahrez!!!!! I kid you not. He was trying to get to the first floor (where the team are having lunch) but could not work out the hotel lift key system...which meant he had to go from the ground floor to the 22nd with me!! Had a very nice brief chat - but lets hope he finds the net tonight easier than where to put the key card in the lift....

It was alcohol free in Porto at the final. I'd be (happily) surprised if it's any different tonight
