At one point they won it 4 times out of five seasons in a row. Every season they won it, they didn't win La Liga, Barca did instead as they were actually good back then. The only season they didn't win the CL in that timeframe, they won La Liga.

So, when La Liga wasn't a one-team league like it is today, they struggled to juggle even two competitions.

They dumped us out twice because the footballing gods for some reason decided it, we are better than them and can juggle three competitions in one season. We proved that and they can't, so just concentrate on the CL every season. If they tried, they would end up 3rd in La Liga, or lose the final.

They dominated their league this season and also dominated it when they beat us in 2022, they do usually bin their domestic cup but you're not entirely accurate.

Not true, they did a league and CL double in 2017.

They have gone for it, but seemingly fall short unlike in the one they keep winning in the 90th minute.

They're very savvy at these competitions, thats why they win it more than anyone. That's why they've knocked us our more than the other way around. They know how to get over the line more regularly than us right now.

But that doesn't mean they are a better team. If there was an european superleague, we would finish above them every year for the last 7 years without a doubt.

Madrid has this quality that if they are better than the other team, they always win. If the match is close, they win 95% of the time. If they are inferior, they still win 60% of the time. If they are extremely inferior (City 2 years ago, even PSG 2 years ago) they still have a good shot of going through. But they are extremely lucky this is a knock-out competition.
