However, it was a bullet of a shot. Shot could’ve either gone across or near post so i’d imagine the keeper wasn’t set for how fast it travelled regardless

Indeed. I respect their position the most. I’m not tall but played gk once when I was a kid and it was fucking hard. Everything happens so quickly once the ball is close to the box. When you think you have time to make a save, the ball is already at you.
