Actually being solid and riding your luck has been enough several times, like Chelsea twice and Madrid pretty much every single time.

Maureen's Porto and Inter Milan also done it, It's more so lady luck going your way. Liverpool in 2005, Chelsea in 2012, Even Real Madrid a few years ago beating Liverpool 1-0, Liverpool absolutely battered them, Courtois single handedly won them that game.

Sometimes you're name is just on the trophy, It's meant to be which could well be the case for Dortmund.

Gundo scored for Dortmund, and then Bayern scored 2 and won it in 90 mins (I think, haven't checked, but I remember it was 2-1 Bayern).
