The fact is they win this competition more than anyone and have knocked us out more than we have them.

You can speculate all you want about a format that doesn't exist. They're better than anybody at succeeding in this format.

They are an average team but they have great game management. They always know that they just need to hang on and in the end there will be knackered defenders playing against their few fast world class front players.

The only team that has really threatened that is us because we can dominate and blow them away. When they played at our place this year they didn't try to win, instead they defended knowing their main chance was to hang on for penalties and it paid off.

We were winning twice at their place and we still drew the game, that's what cost us in the end. I think we just expected to blow them away again at home and it didn't work, they then scored and it was just a rescue job from there.

They do it because they are playing in an easier league than us and get help from their own league by not playing important games between champions league fixtures. The premier league costs English clubs in Europe

I'm abit confused here since I feel this article is abit over the place. We sold some land that was around to the Government? Was this owned by Madrid or someone else?

They seem to get results that no other team can manage, even when they are not playing well and often don't deserve it.
In the last 2 rounds won just one game out of the 4 in our and Munich matches and that due to 2 very late goals.
Won one game out of 6 in our matches with them over the last 3 seasons and that was also 2 very late goals that brought a game into extra time. Somehow managed to go through to the next round in 2 of those 3 tournaments even though they only won that one game.
Obviously the away rule is no longer in place but had it been, we would have knocked them out this season.
They can hold out in games and look second best for 80 minutes yet still manage to score. Have some great players and will only be stronger next season.

Their luck will run out one day. Any football team with dictator worshippers and racists as supporters have to get their come uppance one day, surely?.

They lost 4 games the season they won it when they beat the dippers in the final. The two legged format also benefits them so many countless times. If it used the same format during COVID, they would not have won it as many times as they have in recent years.
