I know that this will seem like a stupid question but is it possible for us to draw against the rags, chelsea or arsenal. Or do UEFA prevent this from happening?

You can't be drawn against a club in your own association (i.e. English FA) in the Group stages or last 16. From then on there's no restriction.

In fact we are second in Pot 3 behind Zenit St Petersburg. If 2 of the 5 seeds in the league play-off draw lose Man City go into Pot 2.

The seeds are Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Lyon, Villarreal and Benfica
