Which is exactly why I dont want City over two legs. You'll beat anyone over two legs.
Inferior teams from Liverpool, Spurs and Real Madrid beat us over two legs in the last few years by riding their luck. It is possible. In all those cases they scored 2-3 goals within a short spell due to errors.

schedule

6 April: Palace-City

9/10 April : QF 1

13 April: City-Luton

16/17 April: QF 2

20 April: Spurs-City

probably drained after second leg while Spurs real nice week long relaxation for our league game.

but 20th of April is the weekend for FA cup semis if we reach that which would make the Spurs game postponed and we already have the Brighton away game already postponed from the current weekend.

at least Luton at home between two QFs is a decent we should rip them to pieces really.

Arsenal have Brighton away just before QF1 and Villa home in between QFs so lets hope they will feel the pressure around that time after we beat them at Etihad and hopefully they dont get Dortmund in the CL draw but someone like Atletico who will give them a real physical fight.

Pity the away goal rulong is gone.
They'd be out now.
The new ruling really suits the likes of Athletico

Dunno. Inter looked as dirty as them the other night, from what I saw. One guy did a Vinnie Jones and grabbed Savic by the bollocks. Who strangely, rather than being annoyed, seemed to find it all quite amusing.

I always think the same once it gets to the quarters and semis.

I think far more important than who we get, is getting the second leg at home, no matter who it is.

Spent most of the afternoon looking at flights to locations( so we're definitely going to get arsenal) the 2nd leg is much cheaper to fly. Munich is expensive to fly too though you can fly to Prague or Nuremberg and catch a train.

Hopefully we get a nice draw I want Barcelona as it's a new ground

Simeone's Atletico actually had a few big wins on the back of the away goals rule. Most notorious was when they put out Bayern in the SF of Pep's last season there. Scored early in the first leg at home then shut up shop completely to guarantee the clean sheet. Then lost 2-1 in Munich amidst much shithousery to reach the final.
Whatever rules are in place, that lot will try to bend them as far as possible to find a way to win.
