Champions League Semi-Finals

Bayern need to go for the kill more. In both games against the rags after going 1.0 down they went much more direct and scored.

Madrid are so dangerous. Hardly had the ball but have created four very good chances, scoring one. Whilst with all that possession what have München created?

Boateng is not the greatest, but he is a lot better than some people here are giving him credit for. It's not his fault that the style and formation Barcelona play leaves him exposed. It's easy to defend when you have a settled back four and defensive cover. As Kompany is finding out this season it's not so easy to defend when you are constantly left exposed and attacking players are running at you.

The game is going exactly as expected and Bayern can be lucky that Bale is sick. Crazy how they are being exposed so badly on their right hand side when they have the best right back of the last 30 years in his prime.

to be fair the two cutbacks to 8 yards out that were both blocked by defenders are as good as good saves or very near misses, they are top top chances. But Madrid have edged it on good chances. But Madrid are tiring and if they can't get the ball back...

He ran away from his own shadow when we drew away at Leicester in the Cup. I moan about Edin being a meek bastard but Boateng takes the biscuit!

Find it bizarre people judge Atletico on one game. Hes done a ridiculous the job the past three years.
I'm not judging Simeone on one game, I don't watch spanish football very often, as I don't generally find it very interesting, its a bit like watching formula one, you usually know who's going to win before it starts. All I was doing was comparing that one performance, with uniteds run and cross game under moyes, which was so successful, just many records did he break again ? Chelsea didn't help the game with their 10 man defence and time wasting, but you'd think after 60/70/80 minutes of run and cross he might have tried something different ? Only once Terry went off did they win a header in the box, just observation, nothing else.
