A very long time ago and an eternity in his career. Since then he was won the 2 Bundesliga titles, the cup and a CL. Winning can do wonders for a player. He is good on the ball, decently quick and when given proper protection is very good. He has also started taking responsibility a lot more in recent months.KippaxCitizen said:He ran away from his own shadow when we drew away at Leicester in the Cup. I moan about Edin being a meek bastard but Boateng takes the biscuit!supercrystal7 said:Boateng is not the greatest, but he is a lot better than some people here are giving him credit for. It's not his fault that the style and formation Barcelona play leaves him exposed. It's easy to defend when you have a settled back four and defensive cover. As Kompany is finding out this season it's not so easy to defend when you are constantly left exposed and attacking players are running at you.
The game is going exactly as expected and Bayern can be lucky that Bale is sick. Crazy how they are being exposed so badly on their right hand side when they have the best right back of the last 30 years in his prime.
That's because its St. Georges day.jay_mcfc said:That anti-racism advert had a severe lack of black people
They could be 3 or 4 down and you are saying they look class? Football is about winning. If you could be 3 or 4 down before half time, then you are not doing the job. Lewandowski despite being one of the best strikers in the world will add little to Bayern if they continue to play the same way.citytill1die84 said:Crazy game Bayern looks class 75% of the ball but could be 3/4 down.

Crazy game Bayern looks class 75% of the ball but could be 3/4 down. Imagine them next season with Lewandowski?

They HAVE to go through the center to make tiki taka work and the problem with that is they don't really have players who can thread those through balls. Pep had Messi, Iniesta at Barca. They need a playmaker like Silva through the center.
