Never understood why we didn't play him at Centre-Half. Had a difficult time with injury and was unsettled but his class was obvious. Great athlete and a great striker of the ball. Would have been so suited to the Premiership. Imagine him alongside Kompany.

Great display from Bayern,who tactically and physically dominated Barcelona.
The officiating was particularly poor,apart from the dodgy goals,handball,Bayern took full advantage of the referees reluctance to clamp down on their niggling fouls.
However the better team won on the night.

Barca haven't learned from last season that 4-6-0 isnt going to work against the very top teams. Especially away from home to a team who've only conceded 14 goals all season at home in the league.

Messi was subdued by the Bayern system which forced him very deep.

The lad 'Bartra' is fucking shite and never of Barca standard. This just highlights their lack of interest in the defensive aspect of the game.
