Champions League Semis Tues/Wed

What went around came around with Barça, tonight; ask any Chelsea fan (bet Castiel had a little giggle!).

Besides I don't accept the blaming of officials. It's a complete cop-out. It shows utter weakness. Barça were well and truly obliterated tonight and it easily could have ended 4-0 without the mistakes by the officials anyway. They were that good. There's 5400 seconds in a game to make something happen, or stop something happening and Barça could barely muster anything up front and looked like they could concede on every Bayern attack defensively.

München were top class tonight.

Indeed. I can understand talking about referee mistakes if the score was 1:0,2:1 or something along those lines, but Barca created nothing. It's their own fault and they can't blame anyone. Totally dominant Bayern tonight and they showed more hunger.

Bayern surely must be the best team in the world at this point in time even including international teams. I just can't see them not winning it, though it should be a great final whoever the team that joins them is.

Of our best 11 I'd only see Aguero and Yaya getting even close to that side.

Aguero, Toure, Kompany and Silva would all make that 11.
In my opinion Kompany certainly would. So would Toure just about and Aguero is the best out of the strikers, though would not be suited to the Bayern team. Silva would NOT make the team.

The bigger problem is how many of their players would make the city team. Neuer, Lahm, Dante, Badstuber, Alaba, Martinez, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Robben, Ribery, Muller, Gomez and Shaqiri would all get into your first 11. Hell Gustavo and Mandzhukic probably would too if you were playing 4-4-2.

Messi let his side down there. Hes earned the right to do so after carrying them in so many games, but he was clearly no where near match fit. I dont think he sprinted once, his hammy is clearly bothering him. Should have manned up and sat it out. Bayern would have had to face 11 and the score would have probably only been 3-0 :)

Having said that, Bayern were excellent. It will be interesting to see how guardiola manages them. Is he adaptable to continue the way they play or will try to make them barca II and effectively weaken them?

The return leg of this game will be epic
Either Barcelona get creamed again by Bayern on the counter
Or Messi has the best fucking game of his life, of any player's life.
Camp Nou is a very intimating place to go but so is the Allianz
Something will happen though and I won't miss it.

Well well look at that. Munich play with wingers which leads to the midfield being wide open.. who would of thought that. Munich system takes the very best bits of barcas Tika tika (pressing, short passing) and combines it with pace on the wings (unites stoke style of direct football). Having the ball for the sake of having the ball is useless just plz fukin purchase a winger this season and watch us score more goals..
