Championship Thread - 2023/24

I'm so so happy for my Wednesdayite mates and West Yorks Owl on the great escape that their manager Danny Rohl has engineered from a desperate position after a terrible start in the Championship. I hope that Rohl gets the backing that he so richly deserves.

To all the Owls I have ever known without exception wherever you are I am so happy for you.

Their biggest problem will be hanging on to him.

Considering his previous associations, McKenna seems to be a sound enough bloke.

Never mind; a season in the cash cow that is the Premier League will soon knock that out of him. Dealing with incompetent referees and VAR officials will drive him crackers.

Birmingham needed to win last week at Rotherham, keep things in their own hands. Never rely on another team with fuck all to play for, reminds me of our final day when we stuffed Stoke 5-2 and just needed either Bradford or Huddersfield to get a point at home to Portsmouth and Port Vale respectively, of course both homes teams fielded weakened sides and we were fucked. The QPR home game disaster the weekend before including that Jamie Pollock OG did for us. Happy days !
