Well they certainly stitched us up good and proper in the Spuds away leg. Remind me, who awarded the penalty Serge missed?
You have your opinion I have mine. If he had scored it who's to say it wouldn't have been evened out.

There's little point in not selling tickets in EL3 and CBL3 as there are blocks of seats reserved for the "UEFA family" in both stands so the stewards etc would still be needed.I'll be surprised if we get over 40,000 for any of these games, even at these prices, I'm surprised they haven't left the third levels closed to start with, even though its unpopular to do that.
It's also the whole format of the competition. It's shit!I've never liked it but gave it a chance but my opinion didn't change. Our treatment on and off the field over the years if anything hardened it. I hope we win it obviously, kudos to blue's willing to stick with it.
Prices should be low really. A lot of SC holders do not go to CL games and a lot of fans who go to cup games go to the cup games because they can't afford a SC and can't afford inidividual match tickets for Prem games. That's why cup crowds are so different to Prem crowds.

Spot on! I look forward the FA cup 3rd round draw more than this rat infested carve up.It's also the whole format of the competition. It's shit!
Too many non-champions are in it, and group stages rigged so clubs like us get piss easy draws making the group stage duller than an away draw to Oxford in the EFL Cup...
Out of 24 Group Stage home games we've played in the competition, we've only really had half a dozen decent games all decade. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport yet almost every game bar the odd exception in the group stage is boring. I get more excited drawing Preston away in the EFL Cup than i do some of these teams we get in the CL.
Then even the knock-out stages - teams are rewarded for their mediocrity and get to progress even when they don't win their group. Last year we played Shalke in the Ro16. Shalke weren't champions of the Bundesliga the previous season, were actually in the relegation zone of the Bundesliga at the time we played them and finished 2nd in their group in the group stage. There was nothing "Champion" about them.
Yes that was that game. It would be more in line with the average had it been played the day before. Was 2016 Gladbach the one postponed 24 hours with an hour to kick off due to the weather? Can probably add another 10/15,000 on that gate had it been played on the correct day
The Group Stage is literally just a filler to earn clubs money. It serves no other purpose. Other than that it is absolutely pointless! It's about as meaningful as the pre-season tournaments we play in. All you have to do is just do enough to get through and wait for the knock-out phase draw.Spot on!
