Changing Surgeries

Change GP's if you're not getting the service you should be, it's an easy thing to do.
I was once told to come off my blood thinning medication by a GP even though i protested.
3 weeks later i nearly died from a blood clot & all because that **** of a GP didn't either read my notes or didn't have a clue what he was doing.

I arrived and the GP said he had to go out. He asked me to wait for him as he had to go out on an emergency home call. I'd have let the secretary do it if she wanted. Or one of the local heroin addicts ..theyre good with needles.
 
I saw a GP yesterday for the first time in 3 years. I couldn’t believe my eyes. 3 receptionists chatting away, me and one other in the waiting room, very pleasant lady gp looking very rested and relaxed. She even asked me if I had any other questions. I had one and she followed it up straight away.

When I went in to my surgery to get a flu jab during covid the staff were busy making tea and toast and chatting for the whole time I was waiting (a LONG time). If I did that at any company I worked for imagine the result.

And that is why it is shit. When it is your money you are losing if you fuck about, you dont.
When you get paid whether you work or not, you don't.

I changed mine after I put a complaint in. The ones I have now are not any better.
Bearing in mind since May 2000 I have I have been sent straight to A&E and separately Ambulatory Care, I have had an MRI and another major scan I have seen an eye specialist and a neurologist, plus various hospital stuff..... and yet despite repeated requests I have never seen a gp.
Yet when I thought a mole on my back had grown larger I sent them a photo. They rang me and saw me face to face.
 
I won’t lie, when I saw the title of this thread, I hoped it would concern people addicted to cosmetic surgery, discussing the turmoil of choosing between new pecs or a new jaw? Breast implants or a vaginal reconstruction?

Poor cunts with giant lugs and a nose that could sniff out truffles. Where the fuck do you start?

I am fascinated by people who willingly see themselves turned into doll like and cat like metamorphosis of who they were. And no matter how grotesque they become, they always think, this time it will all work out...eh, not exactly.

So, if there are any of you out there, it’s good to talk. And I do feel your pain. Well, not literally, or even figuratively, let alone emotionally, but it’s at the edges looking in.

I have a home with my grown up Children in Pontypridd but work away in the West Midlands during the week.
I pretend i reside in Birmingham as the treatment i receive from the local GP service & QE hospital is brilliant & on another planet to Wales.
When i had skin cancer last year, it was 12 days between diagnosis & surgery. Back in Wales i probably would have been on a waiting list for fucking ages.
Same day appointments for GP's & Dentists happens the majority of time for me but took over a year to find an NHS dentist local for my children back in Wales.
It got so bad during that year that i registered my Son with a Birmingham dentist just so that he could have treatment.
