Charlie Adam/Scott Parker anyone?

Milner is better than both - when played in the middle where these two would also hope to be played. Bonus with Milner is he can slot in elsewhere (which, unfortunately, has been his regular role with us so far, hence why we haven't seen the best of him).
 
Would take parker if the money was right! Think he could improve the squad but wouldnt pay silly money for him think about 7mil would be a fair enough deal, wouldnt want adam!
 
Before he went to Blackpool Adam was very poor, he had quite a good season but he is not a top class player or one with potential and certainly nothing better than what we have, I doubt the club have even thought about him to be honest
 
Adam has been hyped up by the media so no.

Parker could be good as a squad player but if everyone was fit he wouldn't even make the bench.
 
Is there some sort of competition to link us to the most average mid table players that are no where near as good as those we are going to sell / release ?

How about getting Joe Barton back ? Maybe Richard dunne ?
 
Let's not kid ourselves, Barry's almost total inertia going forward is almost grinding great attacking opportunities to a halt at times. When he's out we look so much fresher and clinical. I wouldn't mind if he could time his tackles rather tham concede needless free kick after free kick. So if you say can we swap Barry for Parker I'd snap your hand off, but we cannot just go 'adding to the squad' unless we're bringing in quality. I simply cannot see how we're ever better off with Barry - we could do so much better.
