Charlie Adam/Scott Parker anyone?

Not good enough for liverpool, not even good enough for everton. Another embarrassing signing for the dippers. All they need to do now is flog Meireles and it will be the ultimate fail
 
If they replace Meireles with Adam they'll be even more of a laughing stock. The only player I see giving away possession more than Adam by trying to do a stupidly complicated pass is Henderson. He's like a shite version of Scholes.

Actually he's probably a replacement for Aquilani.
 
Wow that's another really really shit signing by Liverpool. How many mid table uk origin players is he going to sign ?

At the moment he's looking like Hughes in the Market. Buy local buy what you know. Buy players that were decent last season. With the odd decent foreign player thrown in.

As someone who (when I lived in Glasgow) had the misfortune of watching Charlie Adam in a Rangers shirt on numerous occasions, this is the best description of him that I've heard.

Charlie's philosophy seems to be why give a simple pass to a team mate when I can attempt an unnecessary Hollywood pass and give the ball away. One in ten of these will come off for him and that makes him look a great player when you watch the MOTD highlights.

He is also lazy and couldn't run the length of himself. Thought he was a Billy big time when he played for Rangers and going to a wee team like Blackpool seems to have brought the best out of him.

Would like to see him make it with a big club as he has the talent, but he certainly lacks (or at least he used to) the desire and decision making ability you need at a big club. Hope he proves me wrong though.
 
How any can want either of these two is beyond me. Some of these threads made are just plain stupid
