Cheap Ipads

the wife and I have both bought refurbished ipad's from the Apple Store - you can't tell them from new and have been great so far

£275 from Costco, seems cheap enough

Looking to buy an ipad. New bog standard ipad. Non of this ipad mini stuff. But im struggling to find a stand out cheaper price for one. Any ideas?

You'll struggle unless you go for an older model 'cos pricing is tightly controlled by Apple. When I bought mine the prices were all the same but I got a two year warranty from John Lewis whereas all the others were one year

Not so mate. The only thing Apple control is the sell in price to other retailers. Any attempt at price fixing could cost them a up to 50% of their annual turnover and custodial sentences for those involved. European treaty of Rome and all that.

The reason that Apple products are rarely discounted is quite simply that Apple and other retailers don't have to. It really is as simple as that ;.)

I'm still gutted I bought an iPad 3 for my little girl, don't get to see her much, bought it for her bug club (books online or something) even jailbroken it for use of flash but could not figure it out. So I'd swap it for for a piece of shit if it had flash.
