Cheating in a relationship

A thread inspired by Kyle Walkers antics ……

Is there ever any going back once one party has been unfaithful?

Fair play to Mrs Walker, looks like she’s given it a good go! Don’t think I could personally, someone thinks that little of you they’re prepared to jeopardise everything
some people are prepared to bite the bullet, rather than face life alone, possibly homeless, with children to consider, financial realities over-ride the feelings of being made to look stupid, the anger. Knowing the future will be utterly different to what seemed "normal" becomes overwhelming, with more problems emerging on a daily basis. If going back just means sharing the same address still, then for some there is no alternative, until the kids future's are stable. Some are able to "go back to Mums", kids and all, even move to a different part of the country. Truly awful situation, life-changing with little hope of it being for the better. I imagine most of us share the same as Mrs BB's reaction, that the relationship is over. It's the aftermath where the consequences get bloody.

I was persuaded to give the last mr k a sort of second chance after he had a year long affair with a friend / neighbour , tbf i was disabled by then and it was really difficult on my own

It was a year when i found out , god knows how much longer it would have gone on for , he swore blind it was over so i said lets go to councilling for a while and he acted his way through it as after that i had a tip of from another neighbour that he was seen going into her flat again and he admitted it had never stopped

I started the divorce but he made me wait for two yrs to make it final, my solicitor rinsed him dry so it was sort of worth the wait , i have no idea why he was clinging onto me like that , just a **** i guess

So no , never again , one strike and they would be fucked off
