Cheating Refs

Lots of bull about 'cheating refs' - truth is we wouldn't have beaten Liverpool at home without a bad ref decision - take it today and hope that Pellers learns from it

No our loss today was because Liverpool took full advantage of the occasion and played us off the park in the first half. 2-0 was always going to be hard to peg back but credit to Merlin and tehe boys they made a valiant effort and if he was just an inch taller I would be having one of the happiest days of my life.

The voice of reason, you''ll be banned off here for talking sense.
Of course we battered them at home didn't we.

-- Sun Apr 13, 2014 6:43 pm --

Hello mates.
Well... how about the Sterling offside at the Ettihad?

Poor decisions by the refs isn't aways cheat, robbery or something
Are just poor decisions.

I'm sure Liverpool have been helped in some situations. As City have too.

Sorry if I mispelled something, but thats all.

Bullshit. I expect better from a Blue.

True though - they had a goal declared offside that was onside - delude yourself all you want mate but the fact is that refs make mistakes - sometimes it goes for us and sometimes it's against us. You can 'expect better' all you want but it's still true

Clattenburg couldn't handle the occasion and bottled the Suarez decision as not to sour the occasion as Luis is a changed character and will for some reason win player of the year but don't expect any reaction in the media as it would upset there agenda

Karma - they should have got something out of the game earlier i think we can all agree on that

Only if you consider the decisions that went against them on the day and ignore the ones that went against us.

you wouldn't be anywhere near the top without the refs as such if you win it you will not have deserved it & most football fans will give you the credit and respect you deserve , which is none.

They didn't have a goal declared offside at all. They had a player flagged for offside. The whistle went, our players stopped playing, sterling kicked the ball in the back of the net. If the whistle hadn't gone before the ball went in the net you might have a point.

That was 20 minutes into the game, there's every possibility we would have beaten them regardless of that decision. Today, Suarez should have been off and we could have had at LEAST two penalties. The ref more than likely cost us today, its not hard to see.

He reffed the occasion and not the match. He needed to be strong but failed miserably. But there`s not one mention of this in the media. If this had been Chelsea today then Mourinho would be all over it like a rash. It is not a level playing field, and at times as a club we are a little naive.

Knew beyond all doubt that he was going to fuck us after he booked Garcia for a challenge in which he won the ball fairly in the first half.

Genuinely hope he's the sole fatality in a horrible car accident tonight, well maybe make an exception for Tyler, head on collision between the two please.

Bit over the top re ref and tyler ;-) but cracking tackle from Javi.

Terrible thing to say

Cars will be damaged

If you think the ref was responsible for the defeat today then fair do's - but a bit delusional
No, it really isn't. To say the ref was solely responsible would be delusional, as would saying Kompany's mistakes were, but to suggest that both of those things made a massive impact on the game in entirely rational.
