Cheating Refs

I thought the ref was actually pretty good today.

He wasn't going to give a penalty today to either side unless it was a stonewall decision and I don't think any of them were.

Suarez probably should have been shown a second yellow for his dive, but Clattenberg definitively didn't cost us this result today.
You've got to be taking the piss.

Suarez flopped so much he has become a parody. In the 55th when he flopped and Clattenberg didn't give him a second yellow for simulating (which it had to be... or else it was a foul) I knew then that the cheating bastard would take that as a green light to throw himself to the pitch at the slightest prompting with no fear of consequences. Should have been 11 v 10 from that point and an easy 3 points to City.

Silva was clearly hacked down in the box to no call... an easy penalty call overlooked that likely would've made it 3-2 City.

Skrtel punched the ball in the box while raising his arm to (yet again) elbow one of our attackers... again no call.

And it was less clear than the others, but another ref might have given a pen for Sakho's lunge too.

I'm not a conspiracy guy, but rather I think that the refs were intimidated by the occasion, and City got the short end of the calls.

You missed the nailed on penalty against Dzeko.
That **** suarez should have missed the last 40 mins of the game and the 90 mins of thier next game.

It didn't come to a surprise to me that ref descions wre bent today. Clattenburg has previous and it is well known he is a livrpool fan. (Im not sure how true this is,but I once heard they caught him playing money on Liverpool......)

He didn't give us about FIVE STONE-WALL DESCIONS........yet the media are going to continue their livershit wank fest and not take any notice of these horrendous descions.

Was it not stonewall Skrtyl punching the ball away.

If Suarez should have had a second yellow, and Liverpool would have been down to ten men for 30 minutes, why has Clattenberg definitively not cost us the game? I don't get it.

Liverpool have bought the title, not with money, but with the memories of the dead. I think we all absolutely knew what would happen with a referee after the Hillsborough parade before the game and in the week building up to it. It would of taken a ridiculously strong referee to not crack under that pressure and hand them the game, but even with that considered, Clattenburg was a disgrace. We should make a complaint, but we all know how little that does.

Tasteless comment that!

Completely true, the world and the ref has been suckered into the emotional porn of hillsborough! If he had sent of suarez and we drew or won, all you would here would be cries of injustice. Hillsborough was a terrible disaster and the effects on families was terrible, however they milk that worse than united ever did with Munich.

I don't think you can blame the ref for the loss.

From this neutrals perspective a great match to watch excellent football from both sides with an uncharacteristic error from Kompany proving the difference though to be fair Coutinho took it well.

It's not over yet though Toure looks like he will be out for a match or two which would be a blow though Henderson is also a big loss with a 3 game match ban following that bad tackle on Nasri.

I love watching Silva though....such an elegant Iniesta type player

Levels it up for the Etihad game.

No it doesn't, since Skrtel should have conceded a penalty off every corner in that game.

Your team is infested by serial cheats, but you celebrate it because it's convenient and because you're the most hypocritical set of fans (demanding respect and sympathy, offering none to others) ever seen.

Blaming Hillsborough?

That's low. Really low.

Mancini realised in our title winning season that it's all about margins and that you have to be in the faces of the officials; it really got to Ferguson when we won the Derby. Mourinho, Rodgers, Moyes, and Wenger have all lambasted someone at some point this year. Our management, however, has adopted a more dignified approach, which is something I deep down admire, but the reality is that decisions against us are starting to count, and we're likely to end up with just polite plaudits to put in our League Cup.
