I tried to order the shirts with three different cards and kept getting the 'card verification' site. However I have nothing on any of my statements.

If you read the OP properly, I said I was on the official site. It was only after going through the whole process, and on the final page which said "Page cannot be found", did this then become the metronet site for some reason.

strange!i know they were having problems initially with certain types of cards etc I'd just keep an eye on it and your bank though as that metronet site is not secure!

I went through the metro site but my payment was fine and my reference number is all good, however I have been charged a pound for the privilege of purchasing online.

I appear to have been an extra £1 as well. On this occasion I will let it go as I managed to get tickets for the DOVES...

when i ordered my shirt the £1 was taken from my bank account.since then the full amount for the shirt has been taken but the £1 hasn't been refunded.will this be refunded anytime in the future?
