Ched Evans to Villa ?

It will be £6m with lots of if's, but's and maybe's written in!

Will be around half of that to start i would have thought.

Listen guy's think before slagging off young players like this. Without the money we now have, players like Ched would be the heart and soul of this club and we would not have many more options.

He is young with a lot to learn and the fact he is with us and O'Niel sounds interested, means he has got something about him.

He isnt going to get a chance here now and he goes with my best wishes and i hope he goes on to have a good career!
 
Reminds me of Lee Bradbury. I wish him luck wherever he goes and just like Bradbury he will doubtless score against us.

I think your right mate....lets wish the lad well and show some dignity, to many on here ready to scoff at our players who have tried there best at our club. NEVER FORGET WHERE WE CAME FROM !
 
Will do us no harm with the Sturridge tribunial as well (i wouldnt be surprised if we are behind this. £6m "deal" for Evans. This could well include something along the lines of £2m if Villa win the CL, £1.5m if he scores over 20 prem goals etc.

We go to tribunial and say we got £6m for evans who didn't play or score as much and wasnt as highly regarded - so give us the £10m we want you cockernees
 
Ok just made a call to my mate (you know who it is... He doesnt like his name on here though so when people ask "who's your mate" dont put it up please!) and he put a call in to Villa and spoke to their goalie ;-)
Apparently Villa are interested and have made City an offer (didnt say how much, doubt he would know anyway) but I also know Cardiff are very keen to have him on loan with a view to buying him next season if they come up and get a big payment (skint at present due to new stadium). With regards to Villa I'm guessing we will have a sell on fee in the contract and the option to buy him back should he become a top player in the league. Nothing ground breaking but info all the same.

I'm not slagging Ched off but whenever I've seen him he has looked at best a top Championship team player or lower end Premierleague. I thought someone like Wolves may have gone in for him. If this is true then I wish him luck but I can't see him making it at a top 6 club as a regular player...time will tell I guess. I'd imagine, as has been previously said, fee is more likely to be around the 2 mill mark with add ons for international appearances, goals scored etc etc
