Don't think he's very good but we also have one other option: Caicedo.

So shut up.

How many goals has big phil scored recently v Evans ?.
A fucking shit load.

Not saying Caicedo is worse just saying that our forward options are abysmal and it's too easy to get angry at Ched Evans.

we`re playing with 1 striker up front either phil on his own or ched on his own, what experience have they got of playing in first team matches never mind as lone strikers, what concerns me is we`ve paid. sorry had to stop my self (bluemoon forum must be getting to me)

This **** you should be on the train to FUCKING cardiff tomorrow. Fucking U.S.

Fuck off you idiot, he's been great in the entire game the handball was unfortunate.

Aha aha aha!!!! you are in a parallel universe....Evans is a disaster - has no attruibutes to be a striker.........

What are you on about, he won almost every arial challenge and did great hold up play up front.... you fickle morons just can't wait to tear the lad apart (or any City player really) , can you?

You disgust me.

you must have been watching a different game to me mate . its good that you want to stick up for the young lad but surely you cant say was good . mh said he picked him to close down there defenders didnt happen. didnt hold up the play very well either. good pen though and he is one for the future
hope i dont disgust you because i dont agree with you

Unfortunately the lad is a Championship standard player IMO. I don't blame him for the handball, in fact I blame SWP for the first goal trying fancy dan football (and not for the first time this season) in his own half that has directly led to the opposition scoring a goal. Anyway we are through by the skin of our teeth. It was the 70's since we were last in the quarter finals of a European competition so we should be at least happy about that. But my giddy aunt Hughes' tactics are bizarre to say the least and my fiver will be on Sunderland to do us on Sunday after that tonight and the injuries we've almost certainly picked up!

Whoever we'd have put up front wouldn't have played well. The tactics were all too clear, invite them on to us and hit them on the break, but it didn't work becuase Aalborg did play some good football in the 2nd half.

I'm surprised Caciedo didn't start as coming into this game his recent form has been good.

I just can't help but think the only reason Hughes picked Evans was becuase he's Welsh.

But at the end of the day thats not Ched's fault.

I can't believe people would seriously think Hughes would pick a player just because he shares their nationality.

I can unfortunately... But I'm cynical.
