Cheers on ITV4 now

A classic series....it (along with Taxi) paved the way for many...

Some great Norm moments...

I watched 3 episodes back to back yesterday not seen it for years. Humour still carries and timing is very good.

Brilliant. I grew up watching Cheers (although they were probably repeats even then) and it's still one of my faves.

Yeah im really enjoying watching Cheers again.I would say this show was as good as Taxi and that was very good!!!!

The classic American comedy. Norm somehow gets all the best lines.

I think it was when Rebecca hears that the bars owners are looking to get rid of people and she asks Norm about it.

'I'm really worried about my future Norm, they've brought in some consultants to look at downsizing the business'

'Ah, I've been in that situation many times. The first stage is they cut out the deadwood.'

'What's the second stage?'

'No idea.'

Cheers is great comedy ......

some of the one liners in the show are absolute quality , and the characters are a great mix ..... they just 'play off each other' , and it just works.

I watch a few US sitcoms , aside from Cheers ...... King of Queens , Frasier and Everybody loves Raymond , amongst them.

I discovered it about ten years ago on the old version of the Paramount Comedy Channel. Used to watch that and Frasier a fair bit.
Can't beat the oldies.
