Chelsea (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The first 5 mins summed the game up.

City very slow to everything with poor passing and getting caught out for a quick counter.

Chavs harassed us and took the opportunities we gave them.

Throw in two ex bellends and it’s was ripe for a bad result.

Still plenty to be positive about. We have Liverpool next and spurs so let’s get 6 points from the home games. Another test of our resolve to lift the title again.

As I say we all get disappointed when points dropped but only due to the players playing at such a high level. Hopefully we tighten up for the next game or expect the same from the dips.
Not on that performance we won’t….

This City side shouldnt be conceding 4 goals against anyone. I thought we were way below our best but still should have won the game having been in front 3 times.

The main positive for me is the look of the table. We’ve played United, Arsenal and Chelsea away and still sit top. We will get better.

I don't remember Sterling EVER having a good game against Liverpool, but he turned into fucking Ronaldinho against us and celebrates? Maybe im wrong but i kind of remember him not celebrating against Liverpool? Anyway, we should have controlled the ball better and not allowed for what always happens with Poch teams, transitions. I think that's where we missed Stones.
He never had anything to celebrate vs Liverpool cos as you said he did fuck all whenever we played them

It did seem a bit as if we underestimated them. Of course, we also scored four and should/could have had quite a few more on those counters today.

I do think the team was correct based on what we have, but I also think Guardiola will learn in the return fixture.

That will be interesting.
