Chelsea (a) post match thread

BT calling it a master class. I think Chelsea are efficient and do what they do well but it's hardly block buster football. We flattered to deceive but we have dominated them for 180 minutes but got fuck all to show for our dominance. Season is pittering out - lose at Wembley and we'll be looking for the transfer window.
Winds me up the way City fans are like "oh that's how it's done look at Chelsea... blah blah Italian"... I don't watch football for good defending or examples of how to squeeze the life out of a game(which they did in that second half) anyone who tells me that can sod off we don't want that shite at City we want fluid attacking brilliance, total domination of ball possession. I'd be disappointed to see us waste a whole half to hold on to lead like that and not stick to our beliefs of how the game should be played.

Undoubtedly you said the same this time last season.
Go and have a look darling.
It's clear to see that we are lacking two full backs and a centre midfielder at the very least.
We controlled the game today but just lacked players in said positions.
Come back to me next season.

Thought we played well but unfortunately defensive mistakes cost us again, as well as not taking our chances

A tale of two managers. Inspirational for Chelsea. Uninspired from us.

Not sure about that. If Chelsea were managed by Guardiola and us by Conte, I still think Chelsea would have won. They have better players!

Delph did well and I'd like to see him V Hull, I'd rather see Garia but there is zero chance of that

Navas tries, he's just not very good and, the less said about De Bruyne the better

We will struggle to beat anyone defending like we do, we have our keeper throwing them in and not enough players on the pitch who can score
