Chelsea (a) post match thread

Every week on here same crap, it's the refs fault, we were the better team and so on and so on, we sit here slagging other teams and acting smug, what right do we have? We have a team that scores an average of about 1 or 2 a game at best, we can't defend, we lost every big game this season, so I can't see where all these people are saying if people can't see how we are better this season must be blind, so will one of you pep worshippers please tell me how.we are better this season than last?

Chelsea sit back and let us at them so let's keep navas on. Ffs. Why wait till 80 minutes for Sterling. Fucking joke management.

We were away at Chelsea, had 20% more possession, had more than twice as many shots as them, more than twice as many on target, hit the bar & missed a sitter at the end.

They put together 2-3 decent attacks & scored twice from a deflection & a rebounded missed penalty. They're a very solid & clinical team, and that's why they're deserved champions.

We weren't fantastic, especially in the second half, but it was far from the shambles we put together every big game last season - no doubt we have obvious weaknesses & areas to improve next season, but for me I like to at least take note of the progress. Improve the personnel in key areas & I'm optimistic we'll start winning these games next season rather than repeatedly falling into the same traps.
Good post.

Talking out your arse, best team lost today, you're deluded if you think differently.
Sorry but Chelsea let us have the ball as much as we liked up to the edge of their area in the 2nd half, confident that they could keep us out. Possession doesn't make us the better team, a better team doesn't concede two bad goals like we did and a better team would have more inventiveness when confronted by a massed defence..

We are the best team in england by a mile but somehow we have conspired to throw away a tonne of points and have been fucked by officials all year.

Chelsea took 6 points from us and we were better in both games no doubt.

Shit dirty clubs like Spurs we have thrown away easy leads.

Really frustrating.

guff...what a limp wristed, couldn't be arsed 2nd half that was...KDB needs a spell on the bench....hopefully Fernandinho as well, been a liability this season.
Cold harsh truth....you can quote all that possession stat shit but that's no points against Chelsea, 1 point off Spurs and 1 point off Liverpool in 6 games...2 points from 6 effin games against the best 3 teams in the league.
Pretty cheesed off tonight, it's actually pretty hard to see how we are progressing from last season. Not to worry though, Sir Pep will spend another £200m in the summer and everything will be okay.....
At least VK played and lasted the whole game.

Pep wouldn't have done what Conte did in that second half to see out the game if it was the other way round and that just about sums it up. Its happened countless times this season where the team has let leads slip especially that tottenham home game.

Ah Conte planned for Stones to miss an open net from 3 yards then.

Players and Pep have disappointed this season. Both had flair moments but little continuity or consistency. Pretty underwhelming stuff all in all. Since the explosive 10 win start, West Ham away probably the highlight and that was two months ago.

Hopefully Jesus (the good one) will give this wet fart of a season a bit of fire in the closing weeks.

Deflated
