Chelsea (a) post match thread

Better team first half, made 2 errors and suffered, second half chelsea defended their lead professionally, in the end the better team lost, but it was our own fault.

24 points to play for still think we can get 21 out of that and consolidate top 4.

I thought we did ok but didn't take our chances. Chelsea are a very efficient and effective team and will be deserving champions but not a team I would want to watch that frequently.

Anything negative will be said over and over so I'll look for some positives.

-Navas and Delph played well and got involved despite being doubted by basically everyone.
-Kompany managed the full game and played very well.
-We know we deserved better.
-Aguero looking back to his consistent best.

Fernandinho cost us that game in my opinion, and if he isn't dropped against Hull I don't know what to say.

Hypothetically speaking, if you needed a goal...
Who would you take off?

Cabellero, Navas, Kompany, Stones, Clichy, Delph, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Sane and Aguero.

We're great between the half way line and the edge of the box, after that, fuck all. We don't win the big league games - end of.

We're worse under Guardiola than Pellegrini, and it's more than just "the full backs" or "the keeper" or "KDB is in bad form" or "a transition season". We're just awful.
I agree. Pep was lauded as a genius who finds his opponents weakness and deploys his team to exploit them. Bollocks. We play the exact same way every game and unless we score at least two we lose points.
