Sergio Aguero latches on to Nolito's inch-perfect pass to force Thibaut Courtois into a crucila save.

From the following corner, John Stones is free six yards out, no defenders around him but somehow manages to scoop the ball over the crossbar.

Can City have their £50m back please?
 
Much better than Sunday but we've too many players in key positions not delivering. Great to see Vinny back and Delph can hold his head up high. Pep getting pelters in the match day thread but then Mother fucking Theresa wouldn't be safe in that place.
Still can get 3rd despite the negativity and still a couple of decent full backs from transforming the team. Can't get too down TBH after that.
 
Predictable.
Most possession. Check. Most bookings. Check. Corners galore we do fuck all with. Check. Shocking ref for us again. Check. Missed chances. Check
 
Once again we take nothing from a game we should have got something from. Defensive howlers and missed open goals - same old, same old. Good to see Vinny back though.
 
Slow, ponderous, lack of invention. Sane was poor but that's probably down to being well shackled. Great to see Kompany throwing himself about with abandon
 
Good performance, better team throughout, should have got at least a point, possibly more.
Couple of poor individual mistakes cost us. Story of the season.
 
Played for the first 45 mins and forgot to play the 2nd 45.

Willy abysmal for the first goal im afraid.

We got beat fair and square but special mention to M.Dean who oh so subtly yet again let a side with much less possession foul almost at will with no cards whilst booking the other and at the end, Kante for one is then able to make a foul because he hasn't been booked. Costa rugby tackle and 2 footed studs into Vinny isnt even a yellow card is it Mike?

Season cant finish soon enough and yes we have the FA cup but this side needs dismantling and hopefully the summer will see that done.

I'm sure they are, but it looks like their not bothered if they make top 4 or not. Its like half the players no
there not going to be there next year so why bother. Worrying signs.
 
We didn't get battered we just did our usual fluffing the chances we did carve in the game.
 
Thought we played OK. Not easy to score against a massed defence we just need to concentrate more at the back. Ferno's foul that gave the pen away was just careless and shouldn't happen at this level
