Chelsea (a) post-match thread

At least it means United have less chance of top 4. Better than a draw for me.

Just routing for for wolves now and we can focus on UCL.

Yeah I know the league was over but just disappointing some players didn't give up a fight. Then they laugh and joke with Chelsea players afterwards. Not a good look.

Another game we could have won, thought we edged that but we made that closer than it should have been for ourselves. We should have put ourselves ahead in both halves but ended up conceding, you can't give the lead away against a team as good as Chelsea.

Mendy will get a lot of stick for his mistakes but he has missed alot of football, going forward he's starting to look good but he lacks confidence in defence, personally I think that will come and a he'll come good at City eventually.

Thought Chelsea looked far fresher than us towards the last 20 mins but that was to be expected. Ota coming on left us far more vulnerable to the long ball over the top(Lampard made the right subs, which were obvious choices for that last 20 mins). Laporte needed to come off, no reason to risk him just to delay Liverpool's title win. Can't blame Pep for that.

Shame Fernandinho ended up in that position but the game was done with a goal and down to 10 min, it was all to play for before that.

Season was gone as soon as Vinnie announced his departure. His legs may have gone on the pitch but what he brought to the changing room and the training pitch was worth more than the strongest and fastest legs in the world.

We keep persisting with Mendy who has shown when he is fully fit he is nowhere near good enough for us. His is a defensive liability and doesn't make up for that as an attacking threat.

Rodri is still miles away from where we need him to be and Gundogan is well just Gundogan.

This CAS result is huge. If we win that then that could top all the titles and trophies we've picked up over the last 10 years, it's that important!!

Serious questions need to be asked about why this team and manager have lost 8 games this season, same number as Arsenal.

Liverpool have won the league because they've had no challenge. Any kind of pressure on them and they would have caved in. Yet we haven't won more than 3 games in a row all season. Shocking.

Not sure who made bigger mistake tonight , Sterling or Mendy !

Mendy gave Chelsea their best chance, while Raheem wasted our best chance.

He was terrible tonight.

When Mendy put those 2 crosses across the 6 yard box for a tap in, Sterling is the one who is supposed to be running onto those. Instead he was peeling off into a crowded box where he could never get the ball.
