Chelsea (A) Post Match Thread

Fcuk off and see (my post) zinchenko thread in players forum.

I am refraining from posting anything in this forum because bunch of Defensive twats start hounding you because they can't take any other opinion than their own. Good day!
Yeah, imagine being defensive on a City supporters forum when someone turns up and starts slagging players off, not once, not twice but multiple times..

One brilliant passage of play on about 60th minute where Chelski had been chasing shadows for the better part of 7 minutes and eventually they nicked it back, the beIN commentator Peter Drury quipped "that's the first Chelsea touch since about last Tuesday".
Laughed out loud at that rascal.
Got, ''That would've been some goal'' on my comms. Nowhere near as funny

I've waited 24 hours and watched the whole match again on City+ because I was rather worried about this match. The second time around took the worry out of watching and our play really was as good as I remembered from Sunday. City were wonderful - and for the first time this season I can say with complete honesty that it was just like watching City! I can't really say any more because I haven't got a clue how to analyse that match - it was simply the work of a genius executed by real footballing artists. And I have to say how much I enjoyed the commentary on City+. Not the commentary that should be on national TV perhaps, but splendid for its enthusiasm and joy in a marvellous City performance in troubled times. Brilliant City!
Me too, couldn't find a steady stream last night so missed bits and pieces.
After a proper re-watch today 5 points I learned....
1)They had the better of the first 10 minutes (proved their intention of how they would play for the whole match, no bus parking).
2)Rodri was dodgy in the first half
3)Some of our play had the beIN commentators saying WOW a lot
4)At half time, Pep must have had a chat with Rodri, he was like a different player 2nd half.
5)We took our foot off the pedal in the 2nd half - showed good game management.
Now to concentrate on shitting myself for Wednesday.........

He's not a bad dude. I still think his Aguero reaction was the best (fuck Tyler) and loved his reaction to Jesus's centurion goal and Vinny's wonder strike.

In his post match interview Lampard talked about 'leaving a hole' in their defence. He probably thought we'd play without a centre forward?
Unfortunately for him, Guardiola filled it with Kev.

Don't allow anyone to bully or hound you for an opinion, but equally if you have made a comment that others find controversial or antagonising then you must be prepared to own such, and for the backlash.
Agreed. I've given Zinchenko some grief historically but yesterday was one of his best performances for us.
Did what was asked of him defensively, got forward when needed, didn't give the ball away every five minutes (like some left backs), and has a nice left foot and good control.
Hope he keeps it up.
