This game is the toughest one remaining and its only December ! Avoiding defeat would be acceptable , we will still be top of the pile , (or joint top in Dipper speak) but if we give the Chavs a proper good hiding , it will send the biggest message yet to the Dippers.

We have one of the world's best defenders in Danilo so why not try him at left back? He could do a man-on-man job on Hazard. Just a thought as Delph did not look in the best of defensive form at Watford.

Hazard plays off the left wing.

Hazard plays on the other side but I agree with starting Danilo over Delph. Delph always has a mistake in him and the better sides will punish us when he makes it.

For whatever reason I'm not scared of Chelsea at all. They're obviously a good team but I feel we match up well with them and they're on a bit of a poor run of form. A draw would be a good result but to be completely honest I'd feel a bit disappointed with that.

Same here.

I think we will see a very determined and confident City team, ready for a very strong performance vs a big name.
Some kind of demonstration.

Many players had a mixed performance at Watford, IMO. Pep will certainly lift the level.

Did you see any of Danilo’s performances at left back last season? He wasn’t very good. He’s a much better right back. Delph was head and shoulder above him at LB.

Nah, we need a striker to pressure Luiz and Rudiger into mistakes.
I agree completely. If aguero is out I’d have Jesus in there.
Gundogan is a completely unjustified bad feeling I have. Like when pep changed how we play at Liverpool CL game last year. I don’t see any reason for us to change our play for Chelsea.
