Chelsea away has been a pivotal match on recent seasons, in 17/18 our win there confirmed we were the real deal, in 20/21 our win transformed our season, last season our win there was seen as a surprise due to the perceived Chelsea Liverpool two horse race. We could really do with a result and performances on Thursday.

It seems as though our attempts at slower tempo controlling of matches is struggling with both the new refereeing diktats and the consistent low blocks we face at home. I can understand Grealish and Mahrez away but at home it seems as though we play far too lateral. The lower tempo and lack of intensity feeds into a far more muted atmosphere.

We desperately need overlapping full backs with those two but we don’t have anyone at left back.

Think its only City fans that believe Arsenal have won the league in January. I doubt Arteta sees it like that or their fans. Long, long, long way to go. Weve been there, done it worn the tee short. Any idiot can predict we wont win the league at this point in time. 7 points is nothing at this stage or even 12 points. It is with 5/6 games left to play. Things change very quickly in football. Im not saying we will win the league but I certainly dont see us out of it at this stage by any means. And why are we dismissing Newcastle. Remember Leicester...............

Absolutely madness that we currently have a striker on 21 league goals and could be 10pts behind when we kick off Thursday.

Ederson

Walker Stones Ake Cancelo

KDB Rodri Gundogan

Foden Haaland Grealish

Will be tough but Chelsea struggle to score goals. 2-1 City
Spurs seem to manage something similar by the end of every season with a top striker.
