It doesn't add up when you look at the seat planner as the Holte End seats approx. 13,000 alone and they have far more than that. Have they removed tickets from their own allocation for their prawn sandwich types?

Wait a minute.

Their fans above ours?

So much for rules, regualtions, and H&S. Don't ever give me that s*** again Bernstein, etc.

They might as well have given City the normal away section plus a block on the upper and lower...they done that before for league games when they havent sold out

Thinking exactly the same.

Why give city the bottom tier when it would have been easier to allocate us the normal away section, top and bottom. Only reason I can think of would be the number of seats in the normal away is more than the bottom tier shown.

i think th fa have done there research well and allocated tiks accordingy. Apart from last couple of seasons we have barley sold our allocation out at villa - not so many years ago there were 945 blues at villa park for a end of season game!!
However...onwards and upwards!!

Load of rubbish mate.

Not that it would Impact their decision making anyway but city have taken good followings to villa park for 30 years.

Looking at that plan we will have 18-20k fans each in there. There won't be much appetite from the neutrals for this game.

Statistic was correct, statement about fa rationale was perhaps a bit daft...i suppose the point i was making was that with 13000 tickets all the loyal awayers would get a ticket easily!!
night match 25 april 2006.
won 1 nil, vassell late goal.
only 26000 in the ground no more than 1000 city and they had the cheek to sing we came in a taxi!!
Apart from recent acup games and last 2 years away at villa, we didnt sell out for a few years!

I don't get some blues on here!!!! ''its a nothing match'' ''Not arsed about the result'' etc etc

We had this against the red fuckers last year!!! and still feel abit sore seeing the top tiers of wembley half empty against our arch enemies never thought in my wildest dreams I'd witness!

for fuck sake its the Champions of England (god that sounds so good) against the Champions of Europe!!!! I know its a Charity match and al that, but it is still another Trophy!!!!!!

hopefuly I can get my hands on as many tickets as possible because I'm taking the whole family!!!!! and that includes my Gran who is 92

Fair enough mate. I also didn't go to this night game but have been to quite a few at Villa also at night and we have taken loads.

Just found this comment about that game . (Did Vassell win it for us?) *edit..sorry didn't read your post properly
