Chelsea away - Pre match discussion

Big one this. Not losing is essential but I also think we can make a big statement by winning. Not beyond us to win so I hope we go for it but not Bayern style!
 
With Mourinhos negative tactics and Pellegrini not wanting to loose a 3rd game, i can see this being a shocking game.

Hopefully a win but i'll take a draw.

I think we've seen more than enough evidence that Pellegrini will go for it anyway. I'm far from convinced by Chelsea so far (I think we are too open as well). I can't see it being 0-0, looks more like a 2-2/3-2 sort of game. It coming on the back of tomorrow is a worry though, and Chelsea have an extra day, and a far shorter trip.
 
We should definitely be going there looking for a win, but not gung ho. Chelsea are a good team, but I think we can dominate the game from the midfield, where Yaya and Fernandinho are looking really strong at the moment. I would still be happy with a draw though!

Can't see it being boring. Pellegrini likes us to attack as we've seen away from home. Really hoping Kompany is fit for this one.
 
I wish you real luck for that match. I cannot stand Chelsea and especially Mourinho.

Yes . But we have more time to prepare than if we were in the Europa league . I don't think an extra day will matter myself . I got fed up of hearing the tired excuse from Mancini . To me this game is more important than the champions league match .
 
I think we will up our game for this one. I got the feeling that against West Ham we were just doing enough,
and could've have clicked up a couple of gears if needed.

We'll be starting at a much higher gear and tempo and I expect us to give Chelsea the run around, as we have
in the last few games. Fuck Mourinho, he ain't playing.
