Just for info, Virgin Trains are providing an additional service from Euston to Manchester post match at 20.45 to take the pressure off the only other return service at 21.00.
The 20.45 relief service will make the same calls as the 21.00 (Milton Keynes, Stafford, Crewe, Wilmslow and Stockport). It's not in public systems as yet but will appear in the next couple of days.

checked the virgin website and still nothing showing yet, will keep checking today for this...

Yep I had the same, but the latest was 8:40 and seat reservations wouldn't count, nothing about an additional train
