Chelsea - FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Probably you are right,we all know how stubborn Pep is though.

As for the rookie keeper,I thought he was going off to the side for a piss at the time of their goal.
I miss Sunday morning football ;-)

Pre match warm up of a couple of Pints.

nipping off for a piss, maybe even a shit, at breaks in play.

Losing to Villa doesn't bear thinking about, the rags will smell blood if that happens
They already smell blood mate.

Noddy still thinks they have a chance.

Our greatest strength Pep, is also our biggest weakness.

Anything is possible with him having the Champions League obsession.

Few heads need banging together and a few arses kicked after the Leeds and Chelsea shit-shows. Best available 11 for the rest of the season please Pep otherwise why bother even trying in the domestic cups? Just take a page out of Klopp's book and bin them at the earliest opportunity. PL and CL only, nothing else matters (except to aul farts like me who'd give their right arm to see our Team's colours on the League or FA Cup).

You can see how much other teams fans were shitting it yesterday they all thought the quadruple was on, the scum would be in meltdown if it happened, we have been closer than anyone twice in 3 seasons.

Still feel aggrieved as it was a great opportunity to complete the quadruple should we have beaten Chelski.

Can’t really blame them for time wasting or acting ‘professional’ in the last 15mins as most teams would have done that with a FA cup final at stake & taking out the heat of the game not that we ever looked like scoring.

Like many Blues felt the writing was on the wall when I saw that team line up against Chelsea. Surely Pep must have known their threat of pace with Werner, Mount & Ziyech would be a large factor so why play Canceló & Mendy to neutralise this where Walker & Zinny have shown to be far more effective.

Our midfield getting overrun was plain to see with Fernie & Rodri needing help. Possibly moving Cancelo into midfield to assist would have helped but then again Sterling, Ferran & Jesus were woeful upfront against a very organised Chelsea side.

walker was a big miss yesterday the amount of cover he does around the 2 centre backs is key with his pace
Cancelo is more a forward thinking wingback and not got the pace of walker to dig him out of a hole

look at the start of the season city had ? we all would have been happy with anything. we all would have laugh at talk of a quadruple ? top of the table semi final champions league league cup final fa cup semi final that's how far this team has come and to top it off without a striker

we are truly blessed and grateful at how our great club stands today. it even sounds silly me saying this in what we have done in the ten years that the club is still not happy and want so much more ? fuck me i was dreaming of just getting to a league cup final just over ten years ago

Just remembered the two moments I was probably most frustrated yesterday were the last few seconds of each half.

We spent ages dicking about taking the corner, then play it short and act surprised when Mike Dean (MIKE FUCKING DEAN) blows his whistle before we decide to actually try and score.

And the lack of urgency at the end of the second half, once the allocated amount of injury time had passed, was just mind boggling.

If ever there was a time to twat it into the middle it was then.

It's beginning to feel like this team has peaked for the season. We'll still win the league and perhaps the league cup. But the way this team is playing at the moment. PSG will be too much for us.

Why wasn’t Stefan ordered up for the corner in the last minute of injury time?
I think they must have been told
“Under any circumstances , DO NOT SCORE!’
