Chelsea fans throwing missiles from South Stand 3rd tier

That's fine when there are 2 legs, but the visiting club would not agree to that on a one off game

Yes i get that, what i mean is a visiting club should get the normal allocation for a cup game in tier 2/3, if they cause trouble next time we draw them they should get the normal league allocation as punishment.
If we play Arsenal in the next round they should get the nornal cup allocation as they have caused no trouble. (Yet)
Id go for a one game cup reduction punishment.and if they behave in that game give them back the full allocation.
Millwall should be fun if we ever draw them, never played at the etihad.

Unfortunately with the ludicrous little corporate section they’ve put in south stand level 2 we’re stuck with away fans having all the 3rd tier for these cup games, as they can’t simply expand their allocation across all three levels.
You didn't notice they had the second and third tiers today?

It wasn’t very well thought out our stadium from the where to put the away fans perspective.

FA Cup rules are you must offer 15% which is 7500. Carabao cup rule is 10% I think.
Correct on both counts.
But when the stadium was expanded we went from 48,000 to 55,000 implying the third tier holds 7,000. So why not give them the third tier plus the usual away bit of the second to take it to 7,500?

Yes thats true, i think this season is the only time we seem to have had a problem with away fans thowing stuff from the upper tiers, we have had a few seasons of away fans up there.
Im sure soneone might correct me tho.
Makes you wonder how a team like Newcastle get on as away fans are always up in the top tier. Especially if Sunderland come to town.do Newcastle have this problem.

I don’t think your figures are right to be honest. I think the third tier of the south stand holds about 5000 or maybe a touch more which is why clubs get it for the carabou cup.
