It was as clear as day to my diminishing eyesight so the FA/BBC would have seen it. Wonder if there's gonna be a fine of similar proportion to the one the FA threw our way after last season's title win?

Chelsea were throwing stuff from tier 2 , not tier 3.
City should give Chelsea and Liverpool the normal away allocation in future cup games, i remember not long ago when City and utd played in the carabao cup semi both teams got the normal away allocations cos they feared trouble......and they was.

100% City should refuse to give chelsea and Liverpool anymore than the normal away allocation for cup games in future. Embarrassing that they can’t protect us in our own ground

TV cameras did show police escorting Chelsea fans out of the stadium.

Definitely seems to be an issue sticking away fans up there. Logistically I understand why City do it with the increased allocation for away fans in the cup but there are safety concerns for our fans.

Using the whole of the upper tiers has got to stop. I wasn’t there today, but my lad was in Block 117 and he said rather than being hit by missiles, they were spat on repeatedly instead. I’m not sure why the safety and comfort of City fans should play second fiddle to convenience in this fashion

They can chuck things from anywhere up there, 20 rows back etc etc. If it was as easy as putting coppers up there we would have done it, there is little police presence in the stadium, that's a fact. Barcelona has netting for away fans, we have to protect our own.

Surely the easiest way to protect our fans is to make sure the away fans are never above ours ever again.

I know it won't guarantee nothing gets thrown across etc, but it has to reduce the issues we've seen where our own fans are being attacked of late.

That's fine when there are 2 legs, but the visiting club would not agree to that on a one off game
