As I already said to someone, I always count the days between two fixtures as "rest time" as match day is all about preparation and training, it's not a day of rest for the players. My concern is more injuries than tiredness though, I don't think footballers at a top club tire that easily but the wear and tear of a game effects them as much as anyone.
