I wonder if Pep has ever thought of bringing Paul Lake back for a one off cameo appearance in a cup game.
The spine of the team could be Ederson, Lake and Palmer. I could see us playing a particularly progressive style of football.

At the moment I think Wilson-Esbrand looks far more solid defensively than Gomez does

Haaland will start. Purely because he's close to a month-long break. Alvarez should be given the nod. Beyond that, I think a lot of the big hitters will be given the night off. This is fourth on our list of priorities and an ideal chance to bed in some youngsters.
