Chelsea (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

But recently (and only this season) he’s looked slow and generally lacking in energy. Can fully understand both the praise tonight and the recent questioning of him.
Not at all he's been surrounded by players who look like they are running in treacle. He's been buzzing around and not getting much back. He also does play stupid amounts of football.

lol, why would i hate. You protect him because your Croatian.

Great performance, needed that. Getting pretty tight for top 4, hopefully see some other teams starting to drop off. We’ve got a nasty set of fixtures coming up.

Not a pop at you but generally I cannot understand anyone being critical of Bernardo ever. If there is one player who leaves it all out on the pitch every game its him.

To be honest i think at times this season he hasnt

But maybe thats down to the fact he has to try and cover those two traffic cones in CM

So, our "geriatric" midfield outplayed Chelsea's shiny 300m midfield. How come?

Imagine that Pep started with O'Reilly and other academy players in this game. We'd have won by 5-6 goals. Pep is holding the team back by playing Gundogan and Bernardo.

Seriously, Bernie was outstanding. Gvardiol and Nunes were excellent. Foden worked hard. Haaland was brilliant. Stones's presence helped the team. Marmoush will be a star. Happy that the crowd supported Khusanov and helped him to play a normal game after the mistake. Think many good things will happen this season.
