Arguably our best performance of the season. I thought the Sky pundits were talking shite all game and we were the better side in both halves of this he match.

I love the more direct approach though. You could see Marmoush making some excellent runs in the first half and no one picking him out. The second half we went long to the big man and Chelsea couldn’t handle it.

This. Bernie was brilliant today. He looked like his old self and that was the key. He added energy to our midfield and did a lot of the necessary dirty work.

Scaramoush looks like he is going to be a star!!

Great to see Stones back.
 
After an iffy start, it was never in doubt - despite what the desperate and miserable rat-faced **** tried to make out.

Old school 433 with double wide fullbacks and inverted wingers.

This feels like PEPs old barca or Klopps old Liverpool, its the way to go for this squad right now.
 
Huge credit to the lads in not allowing their heads to drop after the opening 5 minutes. Even though the winning the league is beyond us but keep the pressure on Liverpool and see where it takes us.

We have improved beyond measure going forward in recent weeks and the defence is looking better in there one vs ones.
Khusonov - rookie mistake but he is a rookie...he also mae a good block a few minutes later and he will learn as he goes....plenty to be positive about with him despite the horror mistake.
Marmoush gives us some real raw pace upfront (different to Haaland and Doku). He was very good technically and considering it was his first game he looked very good.
Gvardiol was excellent in most things that he did - especially composed and a good attacking threat. Still needs to get closer to the winger and stop some of those crosses.

Great to see Stones back - maybe wishful thinking but I really hope we can keep him fit.

Gundo is still an issue in midfield losing the ball in dangerous areas whether its with poor control, turning when he shouldnt be or just getting out muscled.

Foden - excellent...very composed finish, he seems to be getting his mojo back again

Lots of very hard games coming up so that was a much needed win

41 pts - were straying up!!

Edit - bernardo again ran himself into the ground...his form has been poor this season but the effort never stops.....I thought he was very good all over the pitch
