Chelsea (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

In a crazy way the young lads mistake galvanized the crowd and made it a bear pit that helped to win the game
And he will be relieved it cost us nothing. Looking forward to the lad becoming a City regular and winning things.

More like it, still some issues and weird subs but we have fight and also show we are willing to adjust to get points on the board.

Khusanov balls of steel for not crumbling after that start, that will make him a champion in time. Also perfect management from Pep in that situation letting him do something good before being taken off

Gundo and Kova very lucky that prime fucking Bernie turned up, and imagine if he can channel that level for the rest of the season! But we absolutely can't carry Gundogan anymore, I can't remember the last time we have had someone so out of their depth on the pitch regularily?

Marmoush will be mint. Haaland is mint. Foden scoring but still not as involved as I'd like him to be but every goal helps and I think we will see him back to his best soon.

Gvardiol amazing for the duration of the match. Huge credit to Matheus Nunes. Runs his socks off and is slowly growing into a role he is not used too. Maybe just maybe the individual mistakes will be fewer and the positive contributions will multiply over time and suddenly we are looking at one of the first players on the teamsheet? He is a warrior.

That's why palmer left, he'd get a few starts in the carabao and a few last 10 mins in other games. No work rate, anonymous against any decent opposition.
Can the media end the foden palmer debate? It's over

Pep got that one spot on, we hardly gave them a sniff due to the way we were set up today, Chelsea's tactics helped us as they were basically playing the same as ours, Neville going on about Chelsea's high line, erm how high do we play dickhead?

Merson will be disappointed. Think we have to stick to this style now. Plays to the strengths of Foden, Marmoush, Haaland. Also gives us more presence in midfield with the 3 instead of 2 in there. Hats off to Bernardo absolute legend. Also thought Gundo was excellent today, played some really good through balls in for Haaland. And we’ve got a real player on our hands in Marmoush - better version of Alvarez.

That's more like it.

We came through a tough first 10/15 minutes and grew into the game, Especially the second half we were far the better side.

Shout out to Nunes and Gvardiol both full backs were absolutely brilliant today! Bernie looked back to his old self he never stopped all game, Marmoush had a outstanding debut, We've a serious player on our hands.

Erling Haaland, The Chavs simply couldn't live with him, I can never understand why we can't go long to Haaland more often, He will always cause havoc when he gets the opportunity to let his legs go!

Well done Blues.
