Nunes was the least of our problems today and has been for pretty much the whole season. Anyone slagging Nunes after that needs their head banging against a wall.

Only Chelsea change half their squad each season.

With the amount we’ve already brought in, we won’t be able to afford 7 or 8 incomings anyway.

If you have 4 or 5 first teamers injured, there will always be a drop off. No squad can sustain that for long.

We pressed well and broke quickly tonight I thought. Phil nearly had a goal first half off a fast break for instance. Several players made consistently poor decisions tonight and that, along with the makeshift back 4, cost us
 
How on earth didn't Pep sub Phil after 80 mins when it was clear he had a nightmare?

Vardiol -Bad injury but done well 6
Dias -Solid 6
Cherki -Clown performance 4
Raindeer- Great goal played OK 6
The Big Man -Unlucky not to score 6
Foden -Poor enough 5
Nunes Solid 7
Silva- Time to retire 4
Rod -A bit off the pace but still a cut above 7
Doku -Get's a six for that pass
Khus -Good show. Delap is a **** and his card is marked 6
Ake -Get rid in January 4
Pep- Little on the bench and injuries hurt 5
 
Did they even check for a red card when Delap launched Khusanov into the advertising boards?

Delap was off i think from the naked eye, but deemed not interfering I presume? Did Sky comment on this?
 
How many fuckin times did Cherki and Foden get into a position to play a ball in, only to find one of their defenders! And WTF was Ake doing for their goal? He seemed to lose flight of the ball and looked surprised when their player was in front of him(I was sat right next to it) At a time when we need fresh players in we're now dropping like flies. Fuckin soul destroying. The Fams n bluds will be dancing on the streets of Finchley tonight. Cunts!

Tv, ive said it before but every game on tv thats a close scoreline gets an unprecedented amount of extra time given for the watching hordes of armchair fuckers in the hope they get the drama of a last minute goal. Do it enough times and you get enough last gasp goals.
 
Pissed off at that. Didn't take our chances and fcuked around instead of doing the simple things. We fought it out with the snide tackling gits (how many late ones left on ankles?) and eventually came out on top, but ultimately we didn't make it count and let them back in with a sucker punch. Idiots.

Injuries are mounting up now too unfortunately. Not looking great but at least we have a chance to overcome it midweek.

Think we underestimated them. They have some dangerous forward thinking players. Delap caused us untold trouble and we couldn’t handle him a bit like that Igor fella at Forest. It all went to pot when out defence changed, and they smelt blood.
