He can't possibly be happy with that performance or result , he must be as frustrated as the rest of us .... but he has to keep the players onside, we've another game in a few days time.
 
Caught in two minds with neither the ability to defend deep as a unit, nor keep the ball for long periods and pass our opponents to death.

Unlucky with injuries but Ake was far too slow to cover for O'Reilly

That can always happen, but far more concerning was the lack of collective output from Foden, Cherki Reijnders and Doku, particularly when Chelsea had the ball.

Wish we had more Bernardo’s. The guy has more heart than anyone else in the team. He was superb tonight and my man of the match. Yes he was tired and you can make poor challenges when you’re out on the floor. You simply can’t hold the drop points against him. That was down to our forward play.

We needed the ref to stop the game and blow full-time in the 55-minute
The pain written on our players' faces it was hard to watch ? We looked done for the season
 
We all know with less games to play we have won the league with a bigger gap of 6. Midweek is vital need to get a win again Haaland was unlucky not to score. I would worry a bit of Gvardiol and Dias is out. But for both to go off is a worry.
Cherki needs to have a bit more end product. Do we get Doku back from the start. We are lacking a bit of luck. The lucky goal to go in a OG. When Arsenal where struggling they got a lot of luck that goes a long way in helping any team win a title.
Pressure for Arsenal will be when there close to winning a title the year has started great for them everything has gone in there favour results wise but that can change quickly in this league.

Maybe . Its hypothetical. We did create opprtunites and could have done much better finding the right pass but it's outrageous not to get men behind the ball last 4-6 minutes. We are far too open at times . Shut it down Pep

Today, maybe out of 24 opportunities to score, probably 10 of them we gave the ball away fucking carelessly when it just needed one more pass to the free man, probably 8 of them we decided to pass when the shot was on and 6 of them we decided to shoot when the shot was never the right option.

Fucking criminal performance by the attacking players.

Pep should lock the buggers up in the Police cell vans and leave them in there in the car park until training tomorrow.

They were effectively without a manager though..away... playing against a side managed by Pep .... its understandable that they were not going to play with confidence... We didn't half help on that regard...no bite in the crowd to worry 'em...no energy from us to make the game uncomfortable for us.. typical Christmas sort of game from yesteryear when players played who were clearly knackered..or looked a bit bored of playing even!
