Chelsea (H) Post Match Thread

True. It's all hypotheticals, had Kante been playing, had Morata started, had Diego Costa not been sold, had the Reptilian Overlords intervened as they promised they would...
Didn't know the Queen was a Chelsea fan?

Three points in the bag is what counts in the business end of season, so they say.

Lads seemed to me a tad leggy after their London excursions, no injures and a clean sheet the best outcome.

One down, four to go. Come on Citeh!

Do we think this is through Pep’s management or off Agüero’s back?

Both.

Kuns work rate for the side right now is better than it has ever been and its not been to the detriment of his scoring record either which is testament to both men.

Superb.

3 victories against Big 6 sides within 7 days, 7 scored, none conceded. I'll take it.

That was a very professional performance from the blues, who keep a second consecutive clean sheet against top-six opposition and move nineteen points clear at the top. A piece of genius from Gundogan and David Silva, finished by Bernardo, is the difference.

Manchester City's 902 successful passes in one game today is a Premier League record. [@SkySports]

Ilkay Gundogan's 174 passes today was also a Premier League record for most successful passes in one game by one player. Congratulations, Ilkay!

Tyler is. But Gary Neville is astute and fair and has praised City a lot.

There are some people over reacting to anything slightly critical he says.

But objectively he is Sky's best commentator by a mile.

Agree with this, Tyler is a joke but Neville, like him or not, did it at the highest level as a player and is good as a Pundit. He regularly praises us. He seems to be outraged at how we reduce opposition teams to a poor level, which is fair enough, when it is in relation to the (lack of) effort they put in.

None of us would accept City playing at walking pace, not challenging the opposition, would we?

Obviously a team that good does not currently exist ;-)

We attempted 975 passes - made 902 successful passes. this is a premier league record on both stats. How can you write that and not think you are talking utter shite?
I’m not saying anything about the passing, it was beautiful. We gave the ball away under no pressure at all quite a few times, I’m not slating us I’m just making an observation ffs.

chelsea for me are the second best team in the league on their day when they can be arses

Today they did try but were second best and outclassed.

that is all

Beat another park the bus team 1 - 0. Never thought I'd see Chelsea play like that against us, their Manager is shite.

Not a bad week! It was as if conte was begging for the sack with the way he set up. Sane and bernardos work rate today was superb
